Moonshine memories is without a question worth every ounce of your trip. From the money to the experience the time the travel it’s all worth it. The attention to detail in this house is second to none. A chefs kitchen fully stocked extra towels and blankets on every end. The ease of everyday smart home life, access to labeled remotes to everything, WiFi passwords displayed, arcade games and board games, outdoor games and fire places. A fenced in yard for your kids and a gate blocking the stairs for the littles truly thought of in every way. Coming the week of Christmas to share this memorable holiday was the icing on the cake. Decorated to the nine for a homey Christmas morning was a dream. There aren’t enough thank you’s to Sara for creating this space for lifelong family memories!

Sara’s place was amazing for my family of 10! She was very responsive and friendly! This place is very close to downtown restaurants & even grocery stores! Her space was spacious and beautiful! We had everything we needed including pots and pans! The views are stunning! Definitely booking again! Thank you sara xo

The place had everything that we needed. It was extremely peaceful and the perfect place to relax and disconnect. We enjoyed the entertainment area on the lower floor and the fireplace on the deck and especially being able to catch the sunrise and sunsets with the mountains in the background. It’s the perfect place to unwind with family.

It was so good we booked it again while we were there! I’ve never stayed in such a well equipped rental! From everything you could possibly need in the kitchen to extra blankets, they have thought of everything to make your stay feel like home away from home! I can’t say enough about how perfect this house was for my family! Thank you Sara for offering such a great property!

This house was absolutely amazing. It had everything you could possibly need for your home away from home. The hosts literally thought of everything. We didn’t bring any kids with us on this trip but this house is extremely family and kid friendly. There is a fence in backyard,Arcade games, Loads of board games, yard games and books. We loved that the downstairs had an extra fridge and coffee maker. It was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the home for our family girls trip. Ages ranging from 35 to 82 and we all said multiple times how amazing the house and property was. The house and the rooms are decorated so cute and love all the personable touches. I think the part our family enjoyed the most was the fire pit and tv on the porch. We didn’t get a chance to use the fireplace downstairs but it was so beautiful. The house is about 20 minutes from Elijay. Which is perfect when you want the feel of a secluded getaway but close enough to lots of shops, restaurants and wineries.

This place was so beautiful and nice. 5 stars is almost not enough. Beautiful views, space for all the kids, comfortable, luxurious but “homey”. It exceeded our expectations. Sara was super responsive and helpful. We had such a good time. If you’re on the fence about staying, you will be glad you did!

We rented this house along with 2 others for a family get together for thanksgiving. My mother and mother in law stayed in Sara’s house and absolutely loved it. The house was decorated beautifully and had everything they needed. I would highly recommend this house.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We cooked Thanksgiving dinner there and whatever we didn’t have, we were able to find an easy fix. The only downside was the water pressure in the showers/bathtub, but we managed. Great getaway for our family’s first trip back to the mountains for Thanksgiving since our youngest son passed away. Wasn’t sure how we would be affected as he was with us on our last Thanksgiving getaway 7 years ago. He passed 10 days later. Truly a healing experience. Thank you.

Lovely, well maintained mountain cabin. Beautifully decorated and homey. Wonderful kitchen with very helpful appliances. Everything we needed to make ourselves at home. Gas fireplaces were very romantic and welcoming after our many hikes on the nearby Cartecay River. Comfy bed and well-appointed bathroom made for great sleep and comfort. Great communication and ease of use made for a hassle-free visit. Downtown Ellijay was fun and a must do if you enjoy exploring.
